The 2024 Monmouthshire Charity Festival

In 2019 the Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother Richard G. Davies, formally announced the commencement of a five year Charity Festival in favour of the Masonic Charitable Foundation (the "MCF") which will culminate in the autumn of 2024. The ‘Festival’ system is a process by which Freemasons in their individual Provinces collect money on an 11-year cycle to contribute to their own National Charity - the MCF.

Freemasons and the communities in which they live regularly receive substantial monetary benefit into what was geographically the old County of Monmouthshire and subsequently Gwent and the ‘Festival System’ gives Freemasons of Monmouthshire the opportunity to ‘pay their way’ by contributing to our National Charity. This will ensure that financial support to Freemasons, their families, local charities and organisations upon which the needy and vulnerable of local society so vitally rely, will continue well into the future.
